Mavs PK over Raptors (3u)
I know I sound like a broken record but by now we all know the rule! When the matchup and line is right we always take the Mavs at home. We took advantage of it against the Clippers on Thursday and we get a great matchup here again tonight. The Mavs desperately need to win this game to stay in position for the #8 seed which I think they do get. The Raptors did win the first matchup but that was when they had Lowry in the lineup. The Mavs also didn’t have Noel in that game and he has been a perfect addition for the Mavs as he fits perfectly into their system. Derozan will get his but the Mavs have the big edge with Barnes and Nowitzki at the forward spots. Look for this hungry Dallas team to win this game convincingly tonight! Take the Mavs.

Timberwolves +6 over Blazers (2u)
With the Twolves coming off that embarrassing OT loss to the Lakers last night and then having to travel to Portland for this game, the whole world is loading up on the Blazer’s like it’s free money . I know it’s a back to back but Minny had two days off before facing the Lakers and have another two days off after facing Portland so they still have some energy in the tank don’t have to be worried about expending it either as they don’t play again until Tuesday. People want to back the Blazers because they are playing for their playoff lives but that is actually a good fade this time of year with certain teams (Blazers one of them). The T-wolves have no such pressure and can play loose and relaxed in this game and they will be motivated to rebound off that embarrassing loss to the pitiful Lakers last night. Also remember the Blazers are awful as home favorites only covering once all year (against the Nets). We got screwed fading the Blazers laying points at home with the Knicks the other night when Rose and Melo were both late scratches but they still almost covered that unadjusted spread. The Blazers play no defense and shouldn’t be laying this many points at home to any team. Wiggins and Towns have the big edge in this game and I actually think the Twolves steal this game in an outright win but we will happily take the points. Take the Twolves.
