The NFL Preseason (NFLx) is officially here!
Those who have been following me for awhile know that I love the preseason and I would put my long term NFLx record up against any other capper on the planet.
There have been seasons where we have gone 10-4, 13-3, 11-2, and 8-3.
Last year was another great year where we went 8-3 (73%) including a 4-0 sweep in Week 1 to kick the Preseason off!
The NFL Preseason is the only time of the sporting year when you can bet on a sport with one team who wants to win vs. a team who doesn't care at all about winning. It's the only time where the informed sports bettor has a clear advantage over the house because we get to pick and choose the spots where there are these clear mismatches while Vegas needs to put out lines on all of the games.
I know a lot of people think betting the preseason is the ultimate degen move and if you are just throwing uninformed darts I couldn’t agree more. There is nothing worse than getting crushed in the preseason and having your bankroll shrink before the games even count. But I hang my hat on the fact that again, I would put my record against anyone with my long term success in exhibition games. To most cappers these are meaningless games which they avoid but I love these kind of games because Vegas has limited knowledge on how to properly set these lines and leave themselves exposed to getting hammered if you know what to look for.
The proof is in the pudding — Vegas limits you to betting $1,000 max a game in the Preseason while they will gladly book you for 10x that when the regular season rolls around. They know advantaged bettors have the clear edge over them in the preseason and limit their exposure accordingly.
It’s unrelated beside the fact that is the same kind of exhibition games — but I have constantly crushed the NBA Las Vegas Summer League over the past two seasons to the tune of 42-31-2 (57.5%), +30.7u in 2018 and 29-18 (62%), +29.u this year. There is a reason I am known as the best "exhibition game" handicapper on Gambling Twitter, the numbers speak for themselves!
