Miami Hurricanes (-16.5) @ La Salle Explorers
The Miami Hurricanes come into this game with a 9-1 record, good enough for first place in the ACC and 13th in the country. Miami has been a powerhouse and have looked downright unstoppable at some points this year with Sheldon McClellan leading the team in scoring with 16.5 points per game.
La Salle started off hot 4-1 before dropping their last 4 including a 76-47 drubbing to the #9 ranked Villanova Wildcats last game. Although Jordan Price has been one of the most exciting players in the nation, La Salle has struggled to score on offense outside of him averaging just 70 points per game.
Miami is the far better team in this matchup (they may be even more talented than the Nova squad that beat La Salle by 29. Miami wins big.
Miami wins and cover, 87-69.

Kansas Jayhawks (-6.5) @ San Diego State Aztecs
Kansas enters this game sitting pretty at 9-1 and ranked #2 in the country. This Kansas team is a great offensively, averaging 90 points a game and have four players who average in double figures. After reaching the third round in last years NCAA tournament, expectations are sky high for this Bill Self coached team.
The Aztecs have to be disappointed with their 7-5 start, but knocking off the #2 ranked Jayhawks would be just what the doctor ordered to get them heading in the right direction heading into conference play.
San Diego State have been known as giant killers in years past, but this years defense is no where near as good as it used to be. The Aztecs upset Kansas in their house last year ending their 68 game non-conference winning streak and I love the Jayhawks to bounce back this time around and avenge their shocking loss from last time they played on this court. KU rolls.
