This weekend in Vegas at the Westgate Sportsbook it is the Supercontest Weekend Kickoff.
The Supercontest is what they call “The World’s Ultimate Pro Football Handicapping Contest” and I will be entering this year.
I am super pumped to be in Vegas during Week 3 in the preseason which has always been historically my most profitable week of the preseason and I have every intention of finishing this week up at least 10+ units.
As I said before, I love betting preseason football because it’s the only sport in Vegas where you can get a definite edge over the bookmakers.
This is because there is information obtainable out there that you can get that tells you:
• One team wants to win, the other team does not.
• One team is going to play their first string only a series or two then mail it in for the rest of the game while the other team is going to play their first and second strings well through the third quarter.
When you know this kind information it gives you a huge advantage and is almost like betting fixed games. Obviously they aren’t fixed, but they might as well be.
I know that’s a bold statement but my track record backs it up.
Last season my preseason picks were 10-3 (76.9%) for +14.7 units and this year through the first five days of preseason action they are 13-5 (72.2%) for +11.4 units.
That’s a combined 23-8 (74.1%) over the past two years which should be an impossible mark unless you have a serious edge (which I do). Think about it, when you know one team is going to be giving 100% and the other team could care less if they lose 100-0, that gives you a serious edge that Vegas has no way of stopping.
Here is a recent example with my writeup for the Steelers Lions game on 8/12:
No surprise, the Lions blew the Steelers out by two touchdowns in a 30-17 rout.
This was a max unit play for the preseason because I knew the Steelers didn’t care at all about this game and Detroit puts an emphasis on winning in the preseason.
This is the kind of information you need.
I have been refining my preseason system all offseason and am ready for a record year. In the preseason you need to know what to look for or else betting preseason is like throwing darts.
Many cappers like to say it’s impossible to cap preseason but they just don’t know what to look for. I do and my preseason record speaks for itself.
But I know how hard it is to win in the preseason on your own and in order to help people build a bank roll for the regular season I decided to put together and offer the following package:
So you will get all of my preseason plays for the final two weeks, direct access to my email to ask my opinion about any games that aren’t on the card and the ability to purchase the NFL Yearly Package after the preseason at the discounted rate of $500.
Two options: All of my plays for the rest of the preseason or my picks for this week only.
