Rotation #827-828
Oklahoma State +2 over Michigan (2u)
Michigan is the most highly profiled team heading into this tournament and how can you not route for this team after their plane crash and improbable Big 10 Championship run? The problem I see is the highest of highs was reached in the Big 10 Championship run and after a few days of rest this team finally will lose that adrenaline and momentum. Oklahoma State had the toughest schedule in America this year and this team can score in quick spurts. Michigan in the Big 10 did not face up-tempo offenses like this one. This Michigan team can’t rebound for the life of them which will be a problem against a Cowboys team that fights for every board on offense and is #9 in the nation at offensive rebounds. This is a bad match up for Michigan because a 3-4 minute scoring drought could have them playing from behind the whole game. Take Oklahoma State.

Rotation #821-822
UNC -26.5 over Texas Southern (2u)
I will give Texas Southern some props for scheduling tough schools at the beginning of this season. No other team in the country did what they did out of conference. The Athletic Director and people who put together the schedule deserve a lot of credit for trying to build this basketball program, but this is the worst team in the tournament by far and the gap is really large too. Where will Texas Southern gain more possessions in this game to keep it close? This team can shoot, they can’t defend, they can’t make three pointers, they don’t share the ball that well and they can’t grab a defensive rebound. This is all coming against weak conference opponents. This team outside of that tough schedule early on has played equally bad programs who can’t shoot or defend. It’s basically not D-1 basketball. North Carolina is too big, too quick, too strong and too talented to not grab every rebound on offense or defense in this game. The only way UNC does not score 110 points and cover this is game is if they decide they don’t feel like it. Take UNC.
